A 17 hand, dark bay, Elite Hannoverian, Batido was by the legendary Bolero, a leading sire of dressage horses. His dam is the SPS Domenica by Dirk/Duft II, the very influential Hanoverian "D" line.


2000—Batido was USDF/AHS Horse of the Year at Grand Prix Freestyle and fourth place for Grand Prix.He successfully competed in the USET Olympic Trials, and won the Grand Prix Freestyle at Cool August Nights with a 69+%.

1999—Batido was a member of the Region 7 Young Rider Team, tying for individual Silver Medal, won Team Bronze for Junior Olympics and NAYR.

1998—Region 7, Batido placed third at Intermediate II under Kathleen Raines.

1995—Batido was USDF Horse of the Year at both Prix St. George and Intermediate I, Team Silver Medalist at the Pan Am Games, individual 5th place winner at the Pan Am Games, and Gold Medal Winner at the Can-Am Challange----all under USET rider Gunter Seidel.
