CONGRATULATIONS!
Cadence and rider, Leah Winston, attended The Wellington Classic Dressage In The Tropics Shows, I & II this past week-end. The event was 2 separate shows.

Cadence and Leah showed in the FEI 5 YR Old division for the first time. They came out with a bang, scoring 79.2%.

While we did not think they could top that, they proved us wrong with a 79.8% on the second day.
We are hoping to get them qualified for Devon and the year end USDF awards. If they continue on this track, they will definitely be nationally ranked.

This class was won in 2010 at Devon with a 79%. The current leader for USDF in the FEI 5 YR OLD division is a 73%.These scores will put Cadence in the lead!!!!

Good luck to Cadence and Leah!

We love getting photos and updates of babies that have been born from our our beautiful horses at Reflections Farm. We are pleased to share some photos of Donnzi and Denaly, High Society's babies. They are 2 embryo transfer babies by the stallion Dauphin.

Thank you to Regina Nelson of Windy Ridge Farm for sharing them with us! We always love getting photos of our offspring.
Do you have pictures you would like to share with us of horses from our farm? Please send your photos and info to drminty@aol.com and we will create a special blog post featuring your beauties!

ISR/OLDENBURG NA 2010 Mare and Foal Inspection was hosted by Dr. Lori Minteer at Reflections Farm on September 24. The weather was not in cooperation with our plans, as 6 inches of rain fell 12 hours before the inspection. Due to flooding of the arena, the inspection triangle was forced to be moved to a pasture. Dressed in rubber boots, we braided our horses and proceeded to present them to Dr. Christian Schact as best as we could. While the horses movements were a little reserved due to the footing and our scores may have been a little lower that we would have liked, we all enjoyed the event and felt relief to have just made it through these adverse conditions.
Awards went to Kim and Amanda Boggs and their mare Phaedra SRF who was the top scoring mare and was accepted into the main mare book. Dr. Lori Minteer of Reflections Farm took the Awards for Site Champion Filly and Colt with “Quinella RF” and “Donnerstern RF”. “Quinella” is by Quaterback out of the 2006 Reserve Champion Olenburg NA Mature Mare, “Watch Out”. “Donnerstern” is by Dauphin (Donnerhall-Feinerstern) out of Palma (Olympic Ferro-Art Deco).
